The Founder's Journey
After more than 20 years as a developer and the last 5 years managing development teams, I've experienced firsthand the challenges of extracting meaningful insights from sprint data.
My passion has always been software craftsmanship and helping teams grow. But as a team lead using Jira, I found myself constantly frustrated by the fragmentation of reporting tools. To get the data I needed, I had to purchase 5-6 different plugins, each with its own interface and limitations.
The cost was one thing, but the real pain was the lack of customization. Every team works differently, and I couldn't find a solution that adapted to our specific needs. That's when I decided to build SprintRecap — not just for myself, but for development teams everywhere who deserve better visibility into their work.
